From School Party to Tomorrowland: My Story

24/09/2025

This week I had the chance to be a guest of Lies Tielemans in her show RandPraat on RadioRand. It was a special experience to share my story with listeners from my hometown region of Dilbeek.

Lies introduced me as "a little bit famous in Belgium." It still feels strange to hear that, but it's true that this past summer has been incredible for me. From radio interviews to a spot on TV – and of course, my very first performance at Tomorrowland.

How it all started

My passion for music began in a very simple way. At 11 years old, I was allowed to close the school party as the DJ. With the DJ controller my dad had once bought me, I started experimenting and discovered how much fun it was to make people dance. From there I took lessons, joined workshops, and soon enough I found myself on a real club stage.

A big milestone was the Tomorrowland Academy, where I first got the chance to work with professional equipment at the age of 12. That experience was a dream start – and it pushed me to practice, learn, and keep growing.

My style and dreams

Besides DJ'ing, I also play the trumpet. My big inspiration is Timmy Trumpet, who perfectly combines both worlds. My dream is to one day bring that same unique mix to my sets: live trumpet and DJ'ing combined.

When I play, I like to build my sets like a story: starting calm, raising the tension, peaking with techno, retro and jumpstyle, and then giving the crowd a breather before going back up again. My goal is to make people feel the same energy I feel behind the decks.

Tomorrowland 2025: a milestone

This summer I got the chance to perform at Tomorrowland for the very first time. Not on the Mainstage, but on the Rise Stage – right on the path to the Mainstage. The feeling of being there, with hundreds of people stopping to listen, was indescribable. I started with about 50 people and ended with around 500 dancing festivalgoers.

Of course, there were nerves – especially during the shuttle ride to my stage – but once I dropped my first few tracks, it all turned into pure adrenaline and joy.

Even the fire on the Mainstage the week before didn't stop the dream. Tomorrowland rebuilt everything in record time, showing how strong their team is. That made me even prouder to be part of it.

What's next?

I'll keep practicing, producing music, and shaping my own style. In the meantime, I already have new bookings planned: private events, collabs, and a performance at the Dilbeek Christmas Market on 13 December.

You can follow my journey on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and through my website, where I share my new videos, mashups, and updates.

The best part? Step by step, I get to make my dreams
