From Backyard Dreams to the Stage: Sebsky at Vijverfestival

Some dreams feel far away. Others are literally happening in your backyard. 
For me, performing at Vijverfestival is one of those moments.

I was born in 2011, yes, I'm still only 15 years old, and music has become a huge part of my life. What started as curiosity for electronic music quickly turned into a real passion after joining the Tomorrowland Academy. That's where I learned the foundations of DJing, discovered my own sound, and started building the energy and style people now know me for.

Over the past years, I've had the chance to perform at amazing events and even internationally, but this one feels different.

Vijverfestival is not just another festival for me. It's the festival I grew up with. The festival I could hear from home. The festival that became part of summer in Dilbeek.

The funny thing? The festival literally takes place in my backyard. No parking needed. I've been going there for years, and honestly… when the music is playing and I'm not there, I probably can't sleep anyway.

For years, I dreamed about standing behind those decks myself. This year, that dream finally becomes reality.

Instead of being in the crowd, I'll be performing for my own community, surrounded by familiar faces, friends, supporters, and family. That makes this moment extra special to me.

I'm also incredibly excited to meet my idols from FRONTAL and to share the backstage with artists I've looked up to for years. Moments like these remind me why I started this journey in the first place.

After performing at Tomorrowland 2025 and other incredible events, coming home to perform in Dilbeek still feels unique. It proves that big dreams can start very close to home.

I can't wait to share this moment with all of you. Expect energy, emotion, and a set that will turn my backyard into one big party.
