Sevilla, sun, family… and a first set in Spain

What started as a family vacation to Sevilla quickly became something I'll never forget. We came to visit our friend Laura, who I met after my set at Tomorrowland 2025. Back then, it was just a great connection. Now, it turned into an opportunity I didn't see coming.
From holiday mode to DJ booth
Thanks to Laura, I got invited to play at Muellasso, hosted in the iconic Muelle New York in Sevilla.
My first set in Spain. Different country, different crowd, different vibe… and honestly, a bit of pressure too.
Especially when you're standing behind a brand-new AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ for the first time 😅
No familiar setup, no safety net. Just you, the music, and the moment.
But that's where the magic happens.
A crowd that gives you energy back
From the first track, the connection with the crowd was there.
Open, energetic, and fully in the moment — exactly what you hope for as a DJ.
The Muellasso vibe? Warm, southern, a bit more laid-back but still powerful. I adapted my sound, went a bit more Latin afro / melodic, and just let the journey flow.
That's the beauty of playing abroad: you don't just bring your music… you evolve it.
More than just a set
This experience wasn't just about playing. It was about:
- stepping out of the comfort zone
- trusting your skills in a new environment
- connecting with people through music, no matter the language
And doing all of that while being on a trip with family makes it even more special.
Sevilla, I'll be back
Beyond the music, Sevilla itself is something else.
The atmosphere, the streets, the energy… a city that lives and breathes culture.
This was my first international set in Spain, but definitely not the last.
